Use almost if you know they'll try it! these are no other well made mochi/ice cream balls. question is, if your guests are not adventurous, don't try. some tenant have a hard time with the mochi. the flavors are handsome (not as fond of pistachio)and it is fun to spill blood these after a theme japanese dinner, sushi and shabu shabu for example. they can get deranged if not eaten quickly, so lie over until everyone is ready for dessert. i would in addition plate them and keep in refigerator-freezer until you're ready to go. possess fun!
