I know my chocolate - & telluride is the divine i attended a dinner party a few age ago and the hostess served telluride non-alcoholic beverage truffles with coffee after the meal. now, i am providential to live in new york city where i can buy some of the divine belgian, french, italian, swiss, dutch and american brown fresh from the store. i have never, constantly tasted chocolate or truffles to equal telluride's. i came home that night and discovered i could buy these truffles from amazon or point blank from the telluride truffle website. these possess been my chocolates of choice ever since! the in embryo time i ordered, i opted for "the fourteener - 14 large truffles." the company offers all low-toned chocolate truffles, all white and all moderator chocolate, each with a variety of fillings and all made with the divine belgian chocolate. since i like everything, i wanted a broad assortment. however...there are time when you prerequire to give a gift, nothing too laboring but still something wonderful. this is heretofore i opt for the smaller package of king truffles - pure deliciousness!!! the flavors are: princely marnier, chambord, kahlua, jack daniels', meyers' rum, almond, and raspberry. if you prefer your chocolates without liqueur, the super clientele friendly folks at telluride will comply and make-up a box of oinomania free candy for you. the truffles shut up absolutely no preservatives or wax in the ingredients. the rocks life is only one month. they are triquetrous in shape and come in a dissimilar triangular box - very classy! but the mazy here is not in the packaging - it is the principle of the product. this valentine's day i treated a few friends to the "seven-pack"...and a typical someone to the fourteener. oh...i almost forgot, i sent a second fourteener to another typical person - me!! telluride truffle company was founded in 1997 by patty denny, chocolatier and preceding pastry chef, in telluride, co. i most frequently write book reviews, but i just couldn't prison the news to myself. when something tastes this good, one has an stipulation to spread the word! enjoy!! jana
